(hereinafter referred to as "the Company") recognizes the importance of protecting personal information and establishes this Privacy Policy (Personal Information Protection Policy) regarding the handling of personal information in the services provided on this website (hereinafter referred to as "the Service"). By establishing a system for protecting personal information and ensuring that all employees recognize its importance, we will promote the protection of personal information.

Article 1: What is Personal Information?

  1. "Personal Information" refers to "personal information" as defined in the Personal Information Protection Act, and includes information about a living individual that can identify a specific individual by name, date of birth, address, telephone number, contact information, or other descriptions contained in such information.

  2. Among personal information, "historical and characteristic information" refers to information other than "personal information" as defined above, such as services used, products purchased, history of pages or advertisements viewed, search keywords, date and time of use, usage method, usage environment, postal code, gender, occupation, age, IP address, cookie information, location information, and device identification information.

Article 2: How We Collect Personal Information

  1. In the Service, we may ask for personal information such as name, address, telephone number, and email address when a user registers for the Service. In addition, we may collect information related to transaction records and payments made between users and business partners (including information providers, advertisers, and ad delivery destinations, hereinafter referred to as "Partners") from our Partners.

  2. For users, the Company collects historical and characteristic information, such as the services and software used, products purchased, history of pages and advertisements viewed, search keywords, date and time of use, usage method, usage environment (including communication status of mobile devices), IP address, cookie information, location information, and device identification information, when the user uses the Service or views a page of the Company or a Partner.

Article 3: Purpose of Collecting and Using Personal Information

The purposes for which the Company collects and uses personal information are as follows:

  1. To display registration information such as name, address, and contact information so that customers can view or modify their own registration information and usage status.

  2. To use contact information such as name and address to send notifications or products to customers, or to contact them as necessary.

  4. To use information such as names, quantities, and prices of products purchased, and billing amounts to bill customers for products.

  5. To display information registered with the Company on the input screen to help customers input data easily, or to forward it to other services (including those provided by Partners) based on the customer's instructions.

  6. To refuse use to customers who violate the terms of use of the Service, such as delaying payment or causing damage to third parties, or customers who attempt to use the Service for improper or unjust purposes.

  7. To use information necessary for providing services to customers, such as information regarding inquiry content and billing, as well as the customer's service usage status and contact information, in order to respond to inquiries from customers.

  8. To analyze customer's access history and usage status using Google Analytics to improve the Service.

  9. Purposes incidental to the above purposes of use.

Article 4: Management of Personal Information

To keep customers' personal information accurate and up-to-date and to prevent unauthorized access, loss, damage, alteration, or leakage of personal information, the Company will take necessary measures such as maintaining security systems, developing management structures, and ensuring thorough employee training, and will implement safety measures and conduct strict management of personal information.

Article 5: Disclosure of Personal Information

  1. When the Company is requested by a customer to disclose their personal information, the Company will disclose it to the customer without delay. However, if disclosure would result in any of the following, the Company may not disclose all or part of the information, and if a decision is made not to disclose, the Company will notify the customer to that effect without delay:

    • When there is a risk of harming the life, body, property, or other rights or interests of the customer or a third party.

    • When there is a risk of significant hindrance to the proper implementation of the Company's business.

    • When it would violate other laws and regulations.

  2. Regardless of the provisions of the preceding paragraph, information other than personal information such as historical and characteristic information will not be disclosed in principle.

Article 6: Provision of Personal Information to Third Parties

  1. Personal information entrusted to us by customers will be managed appropriately and will not be disclosed to third parties except in the following cases. However, this excludes cases permitted under the Personal Information Protection Act or other laws and regulations:

    • When based on laws and regulations.

    • When it is necessary for the protection of a person's life, body, or property and it is difficult to obtain the consent of the person.

    • When it is particularly necessary for improving public health or promoting the sound development of children and it is difficult to obtain the consent of the person.

    • When it is necessary to cooperate with a national government agency, local government, or a person entrusted by them in performing duties prescribed by law, and obtaining the consent of the person may hinder the performance of such duties.

    • When the following items are announced or notified in advance:

      1. Inclusion of provision to third parties in the purpose of use.

      2. Items of data provided to third parties.

      3. Means or method of provision to third parties.

      4. Stopping the provision of personal information to third parties at the request of the person.

  2. Notwithstanding the provisions of the preceding paragraph, the following cases shall not fall under the category of third parties:

    • When the Company entrusts all or part of the handling of personal information within the scope necessary to achieve the purpose of use.

    • When personal information is provided following the succession of business due to merger or other reasons.

    • When personal information is used jointly with a specific person, and to that effect, as well as the items of personal information used jointly, the scope of the persons using it jointly, the purpose of use of the persons using it, and the name or designation of the person responsible for the management of the personal information are notified to the person in advance or placed in a state where the person can easily know.

Article 7: Safety Measures for Personal Information

The Company takes thorough security measures to ensure the accuracy and safety of personal information.

Article 8: Correction and Deletion of Personal Information

  1. If the personal information held by the Company is incorrect, the customer may request the Company to correct or delete the personal information according to the procedures specified by the Company.

  2. If the Company receives a request from a customer as described in the preceding paragraph and determines that it is necessary to respond to that request, the Company will correct or delete the personal information and notify the customer to that effect without delay.

Article 9: Suspension of Use of Personal Information, etc.

If a person requests the Company to stop using or erase personal information (hereinafter referred to as "Suspension of Use, etc.") on the grounds that it is being handled beyond the scope of the purpose of use or that it was acquired by improper means, the Company will conduct the necessary investigation without delay, and based on the results, perform the Suspension of Use, etc. of the personal information and notify the person to that effect. However, in cases where Suspension of Use, etc. of personal information requires significant cost or is otherwise difficult to perform, and alternative measures necessary to protect the rights and interests of the person can be taken, the Company will take such alternative measures.

Article 10: Compliance with Laws, Regulations, and Review of Privacy Policy

  1. The Company will comply with Japanese laws and other regulations applicable to personal information held.

  2. The contents of this Privacy Policy may be changed without notice to users.

  3. Unless otherwise specified by the Company, the revised Privacy Policy shall take effect from the time it is posted on this website.
